Lamb’s Pride Worsted - 127 - Navy Sailor
Wool with a bit of mohair—the worsted-weight version
Well the story of Elise and Brown Sheep continues from her fateful initiation in Harvard Square. It was in a Harvard Square restaurant, too, not so many years later, that Kevin convinced Elise to marry him. His love for her naturally extended to him loving Brown Sheep yarns, too. She was, after all, always knitting, and there was a good chance that what she was knitting on was Lamb's Pride.
After that evening in the restaurant, chances are what she was knitting was for him (when he was lucky, anyway). What great sweaters Kevin got (reason enough to marry her)!
Years passed. Love grew. Children grew. Kevin grew. Those well-used well-loved sweaters no longer fit and so got packed away. Surprise! Kevin and Elise's son, Ariel, while searching for hand-me-down clothes for his baby, found this wonderful stash of decades-old sweaters and snatched them up for himself! After all that wear, they were still in perfect shape, and they looked great on him, lucky boy!
